How to Help
St. Joseph's Villa is a place of triumph and success. We succeed in changing the stories of the more than 500 children and families we serve every day. When we first meet our clients, they are mostly living in states of crisis and survival. We see children who have nothing to eat, families that have no shelter and youth who are told they have no future.
Then we change their story. We provide programs which educate at-risk youth and provide pathways to success. We care for children with profound developmental disabilities. We provide a safe and nurturing home for women and their families as they rise above homelessness and work towards independence. We help people manage their behaviors and develop plans to achieve more than they ever dreamed.
In fact, YOU change their story. YOU make the difference. Please read below
to learn how your support can make a difference. To learn more about our

The St. Joseph's Villa Annual Fund
Becoming an Annual Fund donor is the first step towards making a real difference in the lives of our children and their families.
The St. Joseph's Villa Annual Fund supports all children and their families across our campus. It represents the unrestricted support for these programs and without it we could not succeed in our mission to change these stories and change these lives.

Donors interested in supporting a particular program may designate their support accordingly. Special gifts are by their nature varied in purpose, and the donor’s desired result can best be achieved through prior conversation with a program director and the development office. Gifts made by transfer of stock or other property, along with planned giving or bequests, can make a significant difference to the present and future of the Villa. To discuss special giving options, contact our Vice President for Financial Development at (804) 553-3220 or by email (click HERE).
Corporate and Foundation Support
St. Joseph’s Villa will gladly prepare a project proposal and grant request to meet corporate and foundation guidelines. We are especially interested in partnering with corporations and foundations in the following areas:
- Vocational training/job-force development
- Behavioral and academic education for at-risk youth
- Childcare for low-income and homeless families
- Social and Life-skills training for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
Please contact the Villa’s Director of Grants Development at (804) 553-3228 or by email (click HERE) if you would like to explore the opportunity of working with St. Joseph’s Villa to support the development of effective programs to address important community needs.
