Donate Your Time
St. Joseph’s Villa volunteers are critical to helping build stronger children, families and community. The Villa assists more that 600 children and families each day as they deal with homelessness, educational challenges, physical and emotional disabilities as well as other challenges. As a Villa volunteer, you are a leader in helping make the metro Richmond area an even better and safer place to live, work, learn and raise a family.
Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals as well as for groups. Anyone interested in volunteering should call (804) 521-5577 and speak with Catherine Stanley, the Villa's Volunteer Program Manager. If you would like to volunteer, you will need to complete a Volunteer Application (click HERE to download) prior to joining the Villa team.

Current Volunteer Needs
A Reception Assistant is currently needed on Wednesday’s 1:00-3:00pm. The volunteer would be responsible for answering the main switchboard phone and greeting guests. The volunteer must be able to make at least a 6 month commitment.
Lewis Children’s Center is currently looking for volunteers to assist with the following:
1. Rocking, cuddling and playing with infants.
Shifts available Monday-Friday 9-11am and 3-5:30pm
1hour shift minimum
2. Summer Camp volunteers to assist with classroom activities and chaperon field trips.
Our theme this summer is “From the US to China in 60 Days”
Volunteers are needed Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm
June 16-Aug 29th
3. Book buddies are needed to help sort and organize library books for the center.
Flexible scheduling is available

Donation Center is currently looking for volunteers to assist with the following shifts:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am-12:00
Monday and Thursday 12-4:00pm
