Educational Services
Working with local school systems and parents, the Villa provides a variety of educational services to children with special needs. Education programs (and the clients they serve) include: Dooley School at St. Joseph’s Villa, for middle- and high-school students with learning disabilities and behavioral issues; Dooley Center for Alternative Education, for students who have been suspended or expelled from their local high school; and Dooley Elementary School, an elementary-school program for students with a variety of learning disabilities. In addition, the Villa operates Sarah Dooley Center for Autism and Brook Road Academy, a nontraditional, college-prep high school. Many students across campus receive employment skills through the Villa's Career and Transition Services (CATS) program.
