Our Staff
Steve B. Beasley, Senior Director of Day Treatment Services. Steve has worked at the Villa for over 10 years. Prior to working at the Villa, Steve was employed as a Behavioral Therapist providing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) interventions to children diagnosed with autism. Steve possess over 14 years experience in the field.
Steve began working at the Villa in the role of a Case Manager for Dooley School in 1997. In 1999, he was promoted to the Director of the Child and Family Emergency Shelter. In 2003, Steve was the Director of Day Services. These programs included 2 after-school programs, in-home, weekend respite, and summer camps. During this time Steve was responsible for designing and implementing the Therapeutic Recreational program.
In 2004, Steve designed and initiated the Day Treatment program. This program is a clinical treatment program for children who are exhibiting ongoing difficulties in the home, community, or school. In 2005, Steve implemented the Intensive-In-Home counseling program. This service provides home based counseling to clients who are exhibiting such severe behaviors that they are in jeopardy of being removed from their current home placement.
Currently Steve oversees the Day Treatment system which consists of 3 Day
Treatment Programs and the Intensive In-Home counseling service.
Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Virginia
Commonwealth University and a Master’s of Business Administration
from Averett University.
