Part of the LCC Holiday Show
One of this season’s highlights was a Holiday Show presented by Lewis Children’s Center (and others) for the entertainment of the Villa’s children and staff. The Dooley School auditorium was jam-packed for the many songs and dances put on by our rising stars at LCC. A big “Thanks!” to LCC’s staff and to the many talented performers who made this holiday so special!
St. Joseph’s Villa has announced that it will begin an after-school program at Lakeside Elementary School in early January 2012. The school is located at 6700 Cedar Croft Street in Henrico County.
The new program will operate from the end of the school day until 6:30 pm each day. Each day’s program will include snack time, recreational activities and dedicated time for homework.
Lewis Children’s Center is a full-service child development center on the campus of St. Joseph’s Villa. Founded in 1982, the program can accommodate, but was not created for, children with special needs. Children with special needs account for less than 10% of the center’s population.
“We are thrilled to open this program at Lakeside Elementary School,” said Lisa Williams, Director of Lewis Children’s Center. “We are planning an exciting start to the semester and look forward to working with the faculty at Lakeside Elementary School to create the best environment for their students.”
