St. Joseph’s Villa has named Ken Macurik as Director of Developmental Disabilities Services.   In this position, Dr. Macurik will oversee educational services at the Villa’s Sarah Dooley Center for Autism and after-school, weekend respite and in-home services offered at the Villa’s Day Support program, and the Villa’s In-Home Behavioral Treatment programs.  Dr. Macurik will start on Tuesday, May 31.

Dr. Macurik earned his doctorate in Behavior Analysis at West Virginia University.  He has been at the forefront of the Applied Behavior Analysis field and has more than 30 years of experience in a variety of settings, including Southside Virginia Training Center, Arlington (TN) Development Center, Lakeview Neurobehavioral Centers, and working at the state level.  Dr. Macurik is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and most recently held the position of Behavior Analyst at Central State ICF/MR in Louisville, KY.

St. Joseph’s Villa currently serves more than 75 children with autism and other developmental disabilities.  In his role, Dr. Macurik will work to ensure best practices across the many services working with children with developmental disabilities.
