Mental & Behavioral Health Services

The Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LaBA) supports all clinical aspects of the ABA program for youth with significant behavioral and developmental disabilities. This position conducts behavioral assessments, maintains an active caseload, and provides one-on-one and group behavioral support, including crisis intervention as needed. The LaBA assists with staff and family training, treatment plan implementation, and program development while ensuring high-quality, ethical service delivery.

Salary: $65,000-$70,000

The Crisis Services Nurse provides a range of nursing and medical support services for youth receiving crisis stabilization services. Responsibilities include administering and managing medications, completing health and nursing assessments, coordinating with physicians and pharmacies, maintaining medical records, and ensuring compliance with regulations and professional standards. The Nurse also provides health consultations and referrals  and participates in clinical staffing and training.

St. Joseph’s Villa is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors and Clinical Social Workers to provide direct clinical care to youth ages 5-17 in our Crisis Stabilization Unit and 23-Hour Crisis Receiving Center. Clinicians conduct emergency screenings, individual, group and family therapy, and develop individualized interventions and stabilization plans to support each individual’s unique needs. This role also works closely with families, community partners and Villa staff to coordinate care, support successful transitions and maintain thorough documentation from referral through aftercare. Regular on-call responsibilities are required.

Clinician I Salary: $64,000
Clinician II Salary: $77,000

The Clinical Case Manager provides case coordination and direct support to youth ages 5-17 receiving services through St. Joseph’s Villa’s Crisis Receiving Center and Crisis Stabilization Unit. This position works closely with families, Community Service Boards, schools, healthcare providers, and other community partners to coordinate services and ensure smooth, effective transitions to the next appropriate level of care. The Clinical Case Manager develops action and crisis prevention plans, facilitates warm hand-offs, and helps connect children and families with resources that support ongoing stabilization.

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides clinical support to children and adolescents with significant behavioral and developmental disabilities. Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor, the BCBA assists with assessments, treatment planning, individual, group and family sessions, staff training, and other services identified in client treatment plans. The position maintains a caseload and/or provides direct client care, while supporting data collection, documentation, and clinical program development. The BCBA also provides behavioral and crisis support during non-traditional hours and may provide transportation to clients and families as needed.

This position provides direct professional services in home-based or school-based settings, promote behavioral, functional, and social skill development, and collaborate closely with families to encourage participation in treatment. QHMPs provide Intensive In-Home Services and/or Mental Health Skill Building to clients and families in their home settings, supporting their emotional and social well-being. The Mentor operates within a team-based model, partnering with families and community supports to ensure high-quality, client-centered care. Requires the knowledge of life skills counseling techniques and appropriate intervention procedures for children with mental health diagnoses and behavioral challenges.

Education Services

This position is responsible for the on-going assessment of students’ academic needs, designing appropriate lesson plans, overseeing the implementation of the lesson plans, supporting classroom staff in determining effective means to manage student behaviors, and providing immediate supervision to assigned Instructional Assistants and Counselors. All work is implemented using a systems approach that utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and other evidence-based teaching methods. Responsibilities include: Designing appropriate and complete lesson plans, including objectives, modalities, and tools to assess learning, to support individual student development and to comply with mandated requirements such as Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and Aligned Standards of Learning (ASOL); assisting in planning, coordinating, and implementing therapeutic recreational activities in conjunction with other staff; and overseeing quality of instruction and support provided to students by the Assistant Teacher or program instructors through formal observation and written feedback.
