Transforming Lives Through Housing Solutions

Everyone deserves a safe place to call home. We help youth, individuals, and families throughout the Greater Richmond and Tri-Cities regions find housing, access resources, and take the next steps toward long-term stability.

Rapid Re-Housing Services

Flagler Housing and Homeless Services provides community-based rapid re-housing assistance to help households secure affordable rental housing as quickly as possible and the tools needed to maintain independence.

Services are customized to meet the unique needs of the household and include:

Individualized case management
Short-term financial assistance
Budgeting and tenant education
Community resource networking and partnership opportunities

Our primary goal is to resolve the immediate housing crisis. Once housing is obtained, case managers partner with households to effectively address other challenges and goals.

Greater Richmond Continuum of Care

If you are experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing housing within three days in the Greater Richmond area, please reach out to the following resources:

Flagler Housing Success Center

Located on our 82-acre campus and accessible by public transit, the Flagler Housing Success Center serves as a regional hub for housing solutions, mental health support, and life-skills training.

Please note: To receive services at the Center, individuals must first contact the Homeless Connection Line at 804-972-0813 for an assessment and referral.

Center Resources

Atlantic Union Bank Work Center for job readiness training, technology access, and interactive financial education
Educational kitchen for nutrition and wellness workshops, and healthy living skills training
Support for transition, including access to household essentials, personal care items, and a food pantry

Areas served: Charles City, Chesterfield, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, Powhatan, and City of Richmond

Housing Resource Center in Petersburg

If you are experiencing homelessness or facing a housing crisis in the Tri-Cities area, call the Housing Resource Center at 804-722-1181.

Please leave a message with your contact information if you are unable to reach a staff member. Calls will be returned as soon as possible.

Areas served: Colonial Heights, Hopewell, Petersburg, Dinwiddie, Emporia, Greenville, Prince George, Surry, and Sussex.

Hollybrook Apartments

Hollybrook is a HUD Section 8 community designed for seniors (62+) and adults with physical disabilities. Located on the south side of our campus at the intersection of Brook Road and Villa Park Drive, the community features 60 one- and two-bedroom apartments in a quiet, convenient setting.

Hollybrook is managed by Landmark Property Services. We are currently accepting applications for our waiting list. For more information, please call 804-553-3283.
