Day Support for Adults

Building Independence and Community Connections Every Day

Adult Day Support at the Villa provides weekday care for adults over 21. We focus on helping participants build social, daily living, and pre-vocational skills through hands-on activities and community engagement. Based on our therapeutic 82-acre campus, our structured program offers a friendly and supportive space where each person can work toward greater independence.

Pre-Vocational Training

Day Support gives participants the chance to gain valuable job readiness skills through the Villa’s Career and Transition Services (CATS). On-campus CATS work training centers include:

  • Culinary Arts Center
  • Learning & Therapy Garden
  • Villa Shoppe
  • Campus-wide recycling program

These centers focus on building confidence and independence, and offer participants opportunities to try new things and discover strengths they can carry into the future.

Recreational Activities

Our campus is full of indoor and outdoor recreational spaces where participants can explore, socialize and stay active, including playgrounds, sensory gardens, and a gym. We also partner with local businesses and nonprofits for off-campus group and volunteer activities to help participants connect with their community.

Our Program Goals

We strive for each participant to attain a productive and stimulating future. Our Adult Day Support program is designed to help individuals:

  • Develop effective social, coping, and life skills
  • Improve communication and adaptive behaviors
  • Enhance overall well-being and daily functioning
  • Experience meaningful community connections

Our staff-to-participant ratio never exceeds 1:4, allowing us to address each person’s unique physical and emotional needs while meeting the objectives of their Individualized Service Plan.
